WHY VIRR
Dylan and Baylin Miller, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, discovered their passion for climbing as young boys after their father introduced them to the sport in Hatcher Pass, Palmer, Alaska. During their teenage years, they spent every free moment planning new climbs, backcountry skiing, and hiking long trails to reach untouched rock faces. Their adventures have taken them across Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, the Sierra Nevada, Canadian Rockies, South America and France. At just 19, Baylin chartered a plane into the Alaska Range to summit Mount Huntington. By May 2024, at age 22, he ventured up the West Buttress of Denali. Later that year, in November, Baylin achieved the incredible feat of summiting Cerro Torre in Patagonia, widely regarded by experienced climbers as one of the most technically challenging peaks..
